Easy to make, this sturdy, sure-footed pony captures the spirit and beauty of an antique rocking horse. Cut the lumber to size using the provided materials list, then cut and shape the pieces using the full size (3 x 4) blueprint style, traceable patterns. The rockers are calibrated curves to give maximum action and are re-curved at the ends for safety against tipping. Overall finished dimensions: 52-1/4″ long, 12″ wide, by 28-1/2″ high. Instructions are limited due to the intuitive nature of the rocking horse — shop notes are provided, however, along with a full materials list, exploded assembly diagrams, and full size patterns.
