Comes along with Office Starter 2010 that is definitely not a trial release. It is only Word and Excel which is certainly all I need and / or want anyway. Now upon my review. The laptop looks great and worked perfectly fine not like another review. It prompted me for making backup/boot disks when WHEN I first turned it on and Used to do. You need 5 reject DVD-Rs. It was a new smooth process and went on 3 hours. The sound with the speakers is okay. I’ll hear it just fine as well as plenty loud. Ive had laptops where even around the highest volume setting you need to strain to hear what’s happening on videos etcetera. Not this one. I do wish this bass was better on it but you will find there’s control panel where you could adjust the sound and I could get it sounding decent and not perfect. The fan is normally quiet and I dont think the laptop receives too hot. The keyboard is bouncy for my taste plus the number pad is smaller than I am used to. (I had a 17 laptop and then the keyboard on that is huge so moving to this very one is a touch of an adjustment but all ready so good. ) I adore that this laptop includes a 12 month warranty and it’s energy star qualified. It is speedy and lots for the price I paid with all the features you get. Overall My organization is satisfied and would invest in it again given any oppertunity. Update 12/8/2010: I needed mailed in the animal damage warranty registration card they use in your package and that it was returned to me these days as undeliverable. I found out which you have register on their website they usually make you print out from the form to mail to an entirely different address as opposed to one on the card from your package. So save yourself a stamp if you do not do this so it actually reaches the correct spot. You are not able to do it completely on the internet unfortunately.
